Another option is to skip plane, lightly sand and finished to produce a clean, finished historic look. It is special wood flooring, crafted with a little help from man and nature.
Hand tooling exposes a distressed floors natural rustic nature. Rustic boards with a rich patina, raised grain, worn knots, circle saw marks, and hairline cracks can give distressed flooring its aged appeal.
Each distressed hardwood floor is custom made. having random widths and lengths. You can normally choose from an Oak distressed hardwood floor or other floors such as Cherry, Chestnut, Maple, Walnut, Hickory, White Oak, Heart Pine, White pine, Fir and all other wood species as available.
